O arquiteto e os clientes decidiram demolir o edifício original e começar do zero. Um orçamento limitado também se tornou uma questão importante: concreto aparente, tijolos ocos, madeira recuperada das caixas, outros materiais locais e estruturas leves foram usados na nova construção.
Among the many kindergartens in Bintaro, Indonesia, the Shining Stars School has survived for more than ten years, located in two former houses that are joined together, the building began to deteriorate and the need for space was a crucial issue.
The architect and clients decided to tear down the original building and start from zero. A limited budget also became one of the important issues: exposed concrete, hollow bricks, reclaimed wood from crates, other local materials, and lightweight structures are used in the new building.
